Q: How important is sleep for my on ice performance?

A: Extremely important. We all tend to underestimate the importance of sleep when it comes to our on ice performance. When we sleep well, we feel great, our reaction time is better, and we learn at a much faster pace. On the other hand, when our sleep is negatively affected for whatever reason, everything is just that much harder. As hard as it can be to have good sleep habits, it's important to make it a priority in your life because you'll reap the rewards if you do.
