Question of the Week

Q: Can you play pro if you're coming from ACHA hockey?

A: Yes, but it's tough. First off, you'll have to play in a higher end program and be quite dominant to even have a shot. From there, you'll probably have to go to lower end pro league free agent camps (ex: FPHL) and prove yourself. And from there, you'll have to continuously prove yourself in those leagues to have a shot at moving up. It's an uphill battle, but if playing pro is your goal, it can definitely be done, it'll just take a lot of work, dedication, and resilience.
