Question of the Week

Q: What do coaches look for when reviewing your stats?

A: Coaches mainly look at your points per game (PPG), which tells them if you're producing offense at an efficient rate. They first focus on the most recent season, but they also look at past seasons to see if you have a history of producing offense. For defensive D, PPG don't matter all that much, video is more what coaches will hone in on. For goalies, coaches mainly look at your save percentage, but also at your goals against average (GAA).
