Hello ,

As the golden sun graces our days, I reflect on the themes that make this season even more special. Today, I wanted to share with you a delightful medley of themes that have been on my mind lately – empathy, summer cookouts, and the pursuit of both gold and golden moments in life.

As the world shifts and evolves, the power of empathy remains constant. It's the thread that weaves us together, allowing us to connect with one another's joys and struggles. Just like a warm embrace, empathy reminds us we are not alone, and our shared experiences create understanding and compassion. We’ll focus on these themes in our video podcast episode this week on Our Story Your Story.

Now, let's dive into summer cookouts–those gatherings that fill the air with laughter, the sizzle of the grill, and the aroma of delicious food. There's something magical about these moments, where friends and family come together to share stories and create memories. The simple act of cooking and sharing a meal can spark connections that last a lifetime.

As the summer comes to a close with kids starting school in the coming weeks, these delightful cookouts help us transition from summer serendipity to autumn activities.

But amidst the laughter and camaraderie, let's not forget the allure of seeking gold–not just the precious metal, but those golden moments that make life truly meaningful. Whether it's finding a hidden treasure or discovering the joy in little things, the journey of seeking these golden moments fills our hearts with warmth and fulfillment.

This past weekend, we enjoyed a beautiful summer evening with cocktails and dinner on the patio at our favorite local spot, The Tamaya Resort. We followed that up by making s’mores over a campfire for dessert.

Looking back on your summer, what favorite memories and stories fill your heart?

The Power of Destiny and Overcoming Challenges

by Shelley Carney

Embracing the Call of the Open Road

Embracing the call of the open road is more than just a physical journey; it is a soul-stirring pursuit of freedom and self-discovery.

For those with a passion for motorcycles, the road becomes a canvas where they can paint their dreams, aspirations, and wanderlust.

It is a place where worries fade into the rearview mirror, and the horizon holds the promise of new adventures.

With every twist of the throttle, they embark on a voyage of exploration, experiencing the world in its unfiltered beauty and rawness.

Embracing the call of the open road is not just about covering miles, but about unlocking the doors to one's own soul and embracing the boundless possibilities that lay ahead.

“There is peaceful solitude in riding a motorcycle over long distances. I become one with the BSA and the environment that surrounds me. Mentally isolating myself from everything, except the road in front of me and riding on autopilot, allowing my subconscious to expand into a meditative state.” A Gypsy’s Kiss: A Treasure Hunt Adventure, Chapter 15

Toby shares his passion for motorcycles and how the open road has always beckoned him toward new adventures.

“The motorcycle that I owned at that time was a Buell motorcycle. Buell was a unique manufactured motor motorcycle. It was designed by an engineer whose name was Eric Buell. What he wanted was a café racer that used a Harley Davidson engine, and that was just right up my alley.”— Toby Younis
