Hello ,

Is Day-tripping for you?

Here's what we've discovered:

  1. Cost-effective: Local day trips can be more affordable than longer trips since you won't need to pay for accommodations or transportation over a longer period.
  2. Time-efficient: Day trips allow you to explore and experience new places in a short amount of time. You can maximize your time by visiting nearby attractions or destinations that may be too far to travel to on a longer trip.
  3. Reduce stress: Day trips can be a great way to escape the daily grind without having to plan and organize a lengthy vacation. This can reduce stress and provide a much-needed break.
  4. Discover hidden gems: When exploring your local area, you may come across hidden gems that you didn't know existed. These could include local parks, museums, restaurants, or historic sites that you wouldn't have discovered otherwise.
  5. Support local businesses: By taking local day trips, you can support local businesses and help boost the economy in your community.
  6. Increase appreciation for your local area: Exploring your local area can increase your appreciation for the place you live. You may discover new things about your community, learn about its history, and gain a deeper understanding and connection to the area.

Bottom line: pick a day and trip! We think you'll have a great time.

Live Life to the Fullest: How to Create Possibilities, Embrace Adventure, and Avoid Regrets

by Shelley Carney

Clearing Away Regrets

I’m helping my friend clean out his garage to make room for his latest hobby.

“Is this your box of stuff to give away?” I ask as I notice a box full of barely used items in the back of his truck.

“Yes.”

“You’re giving away these boots?” I ask as I poke through his stack of regrets. “Have you ever worn them?”

“Don’t make me go through that box again. It just makes me mad.”

It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time

Everybody I know has bought something that later they wish they hadn’t.

But do we return it? Sell it? Give it away?

Or do we hold onto it because we can’t admit that we wasted money on it and insist that we will someday use it as it takes up space in the garage?

Or worse, we hide it in a storage shed we pay for monthly.

If we hold onto those things, are we limiting ourselves to becoming caretakers of things we don’t need or use?

Do we allow it to make us feel stuck in the land of remorse?

The Cost of Owning Things

The ancient Stoics believed in focusing on the true worth (axia) of things rather than their monetary value. They believed that the cost of an item wasn't just what they sold it for, but also what it cost the owner to own it.

The true cost of something is the price we pay in terms of our mental and emotional well-being.

This is a powerful practice that can help us avoid the trap of materialism and consumerism.

Too Much Stuff

Having too much stuff can lead to anxiety and regret.

When we focus on the true worth, and the true cost of something, we are more likely to make thoughtful and intentional purchases, rather than giving into impulse buying or keeping up with the latest trends...

Reprocessing Gold Processing Tailings

We decided to reprocess the tailings we collected from the processing of three paydirt packages: MiningMagnets.com Idaho Dredge Cons, Misskimoson's Blueberry Tundra Delight, and PanMoreGold.com's Reserve Blend.

Reprocessing gold processing tailings can be an effective way to extract additional gold that you might have missed the first time. Because we are new to processing gold, we make mistakes. Now it's time to fix those mistakes.

Is Gold Paydirt Worth It?

by Alex, Co-owner, Bering Sea Gold

Nothing is more disappointing than when someone buys paydirt and feels like they got a bad deal.

We want everyone to be happy and, with 4.8/5 stars over hundreds of reviews, we feel we’re doing a solid job.

People often ask us if it’s “worth it” to buy real gold paydirt. The answer, like most things in life, is “it depends.”

After talking to hundreds of customers and testing different offers, I can confidently give you five reasons gold paydirt IS worth buying, and two reasons it is NOT.

Reasons Gold Paydirt is Worth Buying

If you love gold prospecting and want to do it from the comfort of home.

The number one reason people buy paydirt is that they just love the experience of prospecting for gold. The thrill of seeing the first pieces of gold when you’re panning – there’s nothing like it.
