Welcome back, !
I hope your year is off to a great start so far!! This month has been really busy for me. I've been pushing hard to finish my book, The Glitch! If you haven't pre-ordered yet, check it out here.
On top of that, I'm training for a promotion at work AND trying to spend as much time with my kiddo as possible. He's going to be 18 soon so, I have to take every opportunity I have to hang out with him. He's really a sweet kid and I'm really excited to see what he becomes!
How has your new year been so far?
Let's get into the Fantasy!

Free Fantasy Title
Allure of the Night
There’s a monster inside of me.
Oh, how I wish I were joking, but nope, I’m not that lucky. It’s not even a metaphor. She’s the real deal, and she’s always there—watching and waiting, biding her time. Hoping for the chance to bite.
I’ve spent my whole life keeping a tight lid on this secret while doing my damnedest to tame the beast. But with every passing day, it’s getting harder and harder.
Maybe that’s because I don’t want to do it anymore.
Not even those closest to me know about her. I’ve worked so hard to create this perfect image, this perfect girl, so they won’t notice what lurks beneath. I’ve clearly got them fooled.
The problem is, to get what I really want—what I desire above all else—I’ll need to finally accept who and what I am.
And to do that, well… I’ll have to set her free.

Days of Magic
Okay, folks. I'm going to set the record straight because I'm fed up hearing so many lies about it. For a start, I never fought any dragons. Do they exist? I've never seen any, nor has anybody else I know except for Mister Taylor, the blacksmith. He saw two of them on his road home from the pub one night, though he was probably sozzled. Besides that, he's as weird as an alcoholic rabbit. And by the way, I'm fae and a girl. So, how it got about that yours truly was a goblin called Alan is beyond me. Honestly, guys – a goblin? How could you confuse me with one of those loathsome creatures? Maybe it was the outdated belief that only boys could have gone through what I did. It's somewhat sexist, don't you think?
Anyway, I'd better stop prattling. Why don't you read for yourself what really happened? Then write a review so it'll bring it to the attention of others. All proceeds go to this poor author for the time and effort spent writing the story. I'm flogging the book everywhere, so you'll come across it wherever you go. It'll help me buy more materials to write other stuff. Yeah, I know. I'm over-egging the pudding a bit too much. But a wee financial contribution wouldn't go amiss.
Murder for a Song
Free With Kindle Unlimited
In the quaint town of Ledstow, Esther lives a good distance from her nosy parents, talks to anyone who will listen about musicals, and jams on her ukulele. But when murder comes to her workplace, everyone is a suspect.
When her best friend is taken in for questioning, it's up to Esther to prove his innocence. With her ukulele that has a will of its own and an uncanny gift to get people talking, she takes over where the police have failed.
But the mystery becomes extra knotty, when she discovers something more magical than just caffeine flows in her veins. Can Esther clear her friend’s name, uncover the witchy family secrets and figure out why the police detective seems to be following her by Christmas?
Murder for a Song is the first book in the delightful Musical Mayhem series. If you like witty female sleuths, ghost-hunting, freaky familiars and sweet slow-burn romance, you will love these magical cozy mysteries.
Verglas
In 1969, Washington State geology student René Thompson pursues an independent study program that will set him on a path to climb the world’s highest peaks. Having lost his father to the war in Vietnam, and estranged from his religious mother, René visits his grandfather to borrow the money needed to join a British expedition to summit Mount McKinley in Alaska (North America’s highest peak).
Before his journey, his grandfather gives him an heirloom that has been in the family for generations: an amulet that provides glimpses of future events from the bearer’s perspective. René uses its prescience to avoid several otherwise fatal mishaps, but the disturbing visions of the upcoming climb on Mount McKinley (Denali) are too fuzzy to reconcile.
At the start of the multi-week expedition, René meets Rhiannon Bannerman — a devout Catholic, skilled climber and ICU nurse — and their relationship challenges his assumptions of fate, faith, and free will.
The higher the climbers ascend, the greater the threats from crevasses, storms, avalanches, and team conflict. If René is to survive, he must make sense of the amulet’s visions — as well as look within — because what he discovers on the mountain is beyond anything he ever imagined.

Carly is a young woman dedicated to the life-path she's made for herself; going to college on a hard-won scholarship, determined to get a degree and begin a career. But she never factored in the chaos of falling in love with a werewolf, or desiring any man the way she needs every part of him with everything in her.
Their growing love is matched only by the fiery passion that consumes them with an insatiable hunger for each other, burning down everything they've ever known, and lighting a tempestuous future they cannot imagine.
If they stay together it will cost them more than their lives, but nothing can keep them apart, except the whole werewolf world. Secrets and skin are continuously uncovered as the stakes grow ever more dangerous, and the ecstasy endlessly hotter!

Music Fueled by Fantasy
Let's talk Power Metal for a minute! There are few forms of music that fit the fantasy genre better than Power Metal. I actually JUST discovered this band a couple of days ago, despite them being around since the 90's. Angra is a Brazillian Power Metal band whose music is technical and powerful as the name would suggest. I hope you enjoy, ANGRA
Angra - Carry on
Now let's make the Not-So-Drastic transition to Symphonic Metal. This is a really similar genre to Power Metal and it also fits the Fantasy bill better than most genres. Get ready to have your mind blown by SYMPHONY X
Symphony X - Set the World on Fire
