Glitch Kitchen
Since we are celebrating the release of Viking Raiders, I thought we would look at what the Vikings actually ate.
Now, I didn't have time this week to make a recipe based off of their ingredients, but I found this great blog post that breaks down what their diet looked like on a daily basis. The post includes how they farmed, kept livestock AND it even includes some videos on some rare Viking recipes and processes.
This article contains everything you need to eat like a Viking!

Heavy Metal
Now, if we are talking about the release of a Viking anthology, then there is only one band who can lead us through the dark waters of the north. That band, of course, is the mighty Amon Amarth! They are trailblazers in the world of Viking Metal and have firmly cemented themselves in the heavy community. They have a new album coming out soon, so definitely stay on the lookout for that!
In the meantime, here are some great tracks from the Viking metal masters.
Amon Amarth - Raven's Flight
Amon Amarth - Raise your Horns
Check out Amon Amarth live at the legendary Wacken Open Air Festival
