Shinedown on Dystopian ‘Planet Zero’ Album: ‘This One Tried to Kill Me a Couple Times’
Shinedown released a brand-new single today, along with a lyric video titled Planet Zero. Eric Bass referred to The United States as Planet Zero in the early days of the pandemic and that is the inspiration behind this new single as well as the album. The whole album is themed around helping lift each other up and looking past our differences to see that we are all the same.
Shinedown is on a mission to bring the world closer together and to strengthen our communities and I am here for that!
The new single sounds like a hard driving SciFi influenced rock track and I hope that carries through to the rest of the album.
