Hello ,
Fall is a great time to take stock of health and wellbeing.
Acupuncture "tune ups" are recommended during times of seasonal transition, helping you to rebalance and fortify the body for the colder season ahead.
⏰ If your extended health benefits expire by year's end, this is also a gentle reminder not to let them go to waste. Be sure to book in advance to secure your preferred days and times.
And now for that hot, healthy drink I'm making -
Hot Oat 'Milk' Spice Drink with Ginger, Turmeric and Cinnamon
In Chinese Medicine, these spices are gently warming and help boost digestive energy. You probably have some of these ingredients handy in the kitchen.
- 2 cups oat milk (or other plant 'milk', or dairy milk if you prefer)
- 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger root, peeled and minced
- 1/4 inch piece of fresh turmeric root, peeled and minced
- 2-3 dashes of cinnamon
- optional: maple syrup
Combine the first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan and warm through until hot. Pour into mugs and add maple syrup for a touch of sweetness. Serves 2.
Let me know how I can be of help, , and hope to see you soon.
to your good health,
Barbara
