RESENDING: Why Social Media Can Be Your Worst Enemy

, have you passed by a room before where the aroma that oozes out of the kitchen gets you thinking and know deliberately that the meal being prepared must be very delicious. Many times, you may not even know if salt have affected it.
In the same way, when you pass through another environment, the aroma that offends will get you thinking that a meal is terrible. Yet, the person preparing the meal might get so excited of how sweet the food is.
This is the same way the perception you create on social media allow people think about you.
When you see a picture of a person who opens the cleavage and tells you "you can do it, go for it", you have a mixed feeling to what you see. When you see a person dress so nicely and tell you "mess up as you like, it does not matter", you will as well feel confused.
Whatever we allow people think of us is how they will deal with us. It determines the type of people that gets attracted to you. It determines the kind of transaction people want to have with you. This is how social media have positioned you to the world around you.
, before you push the post on your social media handle, always ask:
- What do I want to achieve with this post?
- Who am I writing to?
- Will this post still matter 10 years from now?
- What perception do I want people to have of me?
- Am I convinced and sure about what I am about to share?
If you can answer these questions correctly, you will be able to position yourself correctly, create opportunities and leave positive impressions on the hearts of men.
Social media does not care about your future or the legacy you want to leave behind. This is why paying attention to this is essential.
We will be wise.
