, this is a screenshot of how it went with myself and my new network from Berlin, Zoe last Thursday evening.

I promised to share the gist with you.

It was so 'awezome' like awesome is not enough to describe how it turned out.

This was my first connection that came through Lunchclub and Zoe's fourth.

I asked about the work she does with her non-profit organization, what growing up was like, what the impact of the work has been and gave some suggestions from experiences I have had.

We didn't communicate as strangers neither was there any break of flow during the conversation (except for when Third world internet was showing up its muscle).

Eventually, I am looking forward to hosting her on one of my podcast episodes or Growth School session.

She asked about titles of my authored book, what book I am reading and I shared a free copy with her. As I said, speak like a global person, not a Nigerian.

We had some discussion about the COVID situation in Nigeria and Germany as well.

Went ahead and had a brief discussion on technology and I learnt from her as well.

I guess you know how easy it can be for me to relocate to Germany through that conversation.

Amidst many things, she has become my connection on LinkedIn and a member of my Facebook Community.

I am just trying to let you know that this platform gives you a level playing ground to connect with the right people outside the irrelevant noise that happens on social media. A lot of times, even the 'agberos' there can intimidate introverts.
