I launched a survey recently to some of my networks to find out what they would have accomplished in one year that would make them so happy and fulfilled while discussing with me over a table of wine.

, if only I can share except for them being confidential, you can't believe the fantastic ideas people have and goals they look forward to accomplishing.

While few still lacked clarity, some had really good ambitions like making their parents happy, getting their dream job, starting their dream business, making so much impact on lives amidst others.

When you read the blogs and forums and see how many believe the average person does not think, such responses will make you refute such a statement.

Here is the concern for me as I asked what is currently hindering them from achieving this and one of which I realised aside mindset is the other crucial 'm' - money.

Never relegate the importance of money in living that dream you desire.

You want to reach so many lives and give your message a voice, figure out the financial stream after factoring in the foundational skills.

Here are 10 side online business ideas you should consider aside from schooling or work at your job that can aid your financial streams:

1. Content Creation

I can imagine you have heard about this somewhere but I am emphasizing it again so you can go ahead and activate that channel of income.

You have a friend, Shola, who runs a small business but struggle with content, tell her to let you handle it for her and pay you a commission for everyone who buys her product through your content.

Talk to a business brand online that you are good with writing stories that get people to take purchase actions and would love to write for them for 2 weeks after which they can choose to pay you.

Why spend time daily buying data, providing content for Facebook, Instagram and the rest without converting them into Cash.

There are even much more (over 10) ways to cash out from content which I complied in a resource you can read through and start making money from without dropping out from school or leaving your job.

Announce to the world you are now a certified social media advertisement expert certified by Facebook.

Reach out to an NGO or business to help manage their online pages for free (for 1 month) and they start paying after then.

Share your experience and process and get contacted to do it for a charge.

3. Social Media Influencing

Have you come across comedy skits online and see the quality of their video with the question "how do these people make money?"

Simple - influencing.

Organizations are looking for people who have many subscribers, followers and views with their content.

Such people are paid to promote products and services.

Are you aware even your WhatsApp can be used to start?

4. Information Product Creation

Do you know a solution to something that others struggle with?

Do you have expertise in something people want to learn?

Do you have a process to give people a better life, sweeter relationship, higher success, more money or sound health?

Why not package it into a product that people can pay for even if it is sold cheaply? Little drops of water make a mighty ocean.

7. Affiliate Marketing

I understand one way people talk about this is by using a platform and sharing other people's products with it.

Well, if you are just starting, why not talk to someone you know who is struggling with sales but has a good product to allow you to get customers while they pay you a certain commission per sale.

This way, your data starts making money for you and as people ask you, you can refer them to the store or purchase it and deliver.

This way, you can add your own reasonable charge, make more and repeat the process.

Many business owners are struggling with sales, why not leverage on this.

8. Dropshipping

Stop bothering about getting products from China or Huwai. There is a simpler and cheaper formula to do it.

I learnt this from Ken Ndubisi some weeks ago and find this really educative.

You don't need all the technicalities of CSS, HTML or WordPress. You can design a beautiful, engaging and responsive website yourself using only a drag-and-drop option.

I designed one myself last year and was amazed at how easy it was in less time.

I used a platform called WIX.

You simply position as a website design and optimization consultant and get paid what technical experts charge.

I am planning a practical class with students on my campus soon and should share the replay with you when it's up.

10. Quality Relationships

Other thought-leaders won't. yet, it is the most essential.

You can earn a living just by having the right networks around you.

You can also remain poor not having the right networks around you.
