I have had my leg shake standing on the stage to speak before.

Many people felt I was born a great speaker because of how the flow went.

Some don't believe I use to be timid and introverted.

I have been frightened about how a speaking session would go because of the number of audience before me.

Sometimes, I have listened to myself and wished I did better.

I have been declined an opportunity because I was said not to fit in because of my way of speaking.

Sitting down to reminisce on what made the difference that made people tell how inspired they are after listening to me has some lessons to learn.

"You dealt with that topic so well".

" You spoke to me during your session "

" The ideas you shared on the radio were insightful"

As nice as those comments are, people, don't know I should have given up a long time ago.

I should have said like many that speaking is not the thing for me.

Yet, the commitment to build the discipline of not giving up is a great treasure given to man.

Stop letting the performances of others become the reason for 'twisting your fist'.

Be willing to be the greatest competitor of yourself.

That you saw someone speak so powerful should not make you start thinking of becoming better than that person.

The better you are than your yesterday, the more fulfilled you will be about your becoming.

Draw inspiration from others.

Accept criticisms constructively.

Practice again in the darkroom.

Learn the underlying principles that work for you.

Yet, don't make the people you see in this space your competitors.

Look at all the people you respect so much.

None sounds the same as the other.

Yet, they don't struggle to command their audiences.

If you can do this, the version of you today will look at you tomorrow and be delighted at the price you paid.

There is more to you the world is yet to see.

Win unapologetically!

We will be wise.
