YoChurch Daily~Vol. 15
Tuesday, April 20, 2021
Programming note: we will publish during weekdays only until further notice ☺️
First Things First (Daily Reminders):
- Have you said hello to God today? If not, why not say howdy? ☺️
- What is something you’re grateful for that happened yesterday (breathing counts if that’s all you’ve got)?
- Will you please try to help someone today (even if it’s just a text to check in)?
- Would you please remember our YoChurch community in your prayers?
Verse of the Week:
Matthew 6:25
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Shoutout to my peeps on spring breaks- enjoy every moment 😎🥰🤩

Deep breaths and prayers as we dive in here...
As the Chauvin /George Floyd jury heads to deliberations, a church in downtown Minneapolis was burned down Monday evening. Other stories are calling this arson. https://www.fox9.com/news/fire-burns-church-in-northeast-minneapolis
The Woke Wars heated up this week in NYC. A parent at the $54k/yr Brearly School and a teacher at the $57k/year grace School backed up what the parent said. Perhaps the most disturbing part of the entire situation is that Grace School is an Episcopalian school- a Christian school- and the students there are not allowed to use the phrase “Merry Christmas” or refer to their parents as “mom” and “dad”.
What have we come to?

Article about Grace (Christian) School banning roles and sentiments from the Bible. I’m guessing it’s detention for belting out an “Away in a Manger” chorus. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9347201/Woke-50k-Manhattan-school-bans-kids-using-terms-mom-dad.html

What can we do? Keep the faith. Pray. Act as you’re led to by the Holy Spirit.
