Oi !
You’ve saved up for tomorrow kasi Black Friday na no?!
Yihee
Pero, you’re still not sure where or how you’re going to spend it. Or may idea ka na but undecided ka as of yet.
Or you're holding out kasi may giveaway tayo, hahaha. (ito ata e.)
A basta, excited ka lang to do this:
But wait! (there's more.. lol)
Let me share with you a few Things You Should Know Before you Grab dat Lifetime deal.
It's not all about taking your money, hehe. there’s a whole other world around it that I thought you should know before diving in.
I made a video about it sa wall ko, if you don't want to read this whole email. Click the video na lang. Hehe.
Yes, alam natin na lifetime deals (LTDs) for software are a great way to get a ton of value for a one-time payment. Given na yun, but we have to add some nuance to this and look at it from the devs' perspective as well.
First, make sure that the software will continue to be updated and supported. A lifetime deal is only a good value if the software will be around for a long time.
Kaya, let's not be too greedy lol.
This means that the company needs to grow as well, so if your business grows as a result of using the software, find ways to support them financially with a subscription as well.
It's only fair naman, right? Plus it will no longer be an expense for you, simply the cost of doing business.
Second, consider whether you really need all the features that come with the lifetime deal. A lifetime deal may include features that you'll never use, so be sure to only pay for what you'll actually use.
Okay, guilty ako dito. As a recovering deal-aholic, I fantasize about HOW I MIGHT use the features in the future... WRONG!
Di dapat ganon, you should really focus on what your current activities are and how you might be supported by some automation here and there. Or apps that you ACTUALLY need to deliver your service.
Wag yung mga what ifs.. leche! (huhu may hugot ako dito)
Third, be aware of the risks involved with lifetime deals.
In some cases, companies have gone out of business or stopped supporting a product after offering lifetime deals. (This happens because they lose cashflow, but users are still using their product.) So, be sure to do your research before taking advantage of a lifetime deal. This happened to me before, but thankfully not before we earned six-figures from using it.
sidenote: Shoutout kay Coach Migs Campaner who I launched a JV with, and nakabenta na kami ng digital products before the software company decided to break their deal. Uggh
Overall, lifetime deals can be a great way to get a lot of value for a one-time payment. Just be sure to do your research and only pay for what you'll actually use.
Fourth, I didn't mention this in the video but this is for determined readers. Make sure to use the app and see how you can blend it into your work day. If you don't end up using it anyway, REFUND it before the period (usually 60 days but check the fine print) ends.
Wag maging deal addict. Wag nyo ako tularan. lol.
Or kung pasaway ka pa din, but you still can't do the research and tinatamad ka talaga, use my list: (provided that you're a freelancer who wants to have a steady flow of leads and clients in your pipeline)
ETO sya uli, para intense. (Also I might have added a few things in there by the time you see it again. Or not. )
Cheers,
Shoden
