[šŸ’”wfunhome] Tuesday Tools Roundup šŸ› ļø (October 3 Edition)

Oct 03, 2023 12:31 am

Yo Work Fun Nation,

Itā€™s time for another Tuesday Tools Roundup, where I share Tools and Apps that Iā€™ve personally tested, so you donā€™t have to!

Hereā€™s how this goes. Every Tuesday, Iā€™ll share only a couple of tools para you don't go insane.

Marami talagang basura apps out there that donā€™t really work and are just cashing in on the gold rush that is AI (sometimes, they're just calling it AI-powered daw kahit hindi naman.)

Ako na mag-reresearch kasi hobby ko talaga mag-discover the apps.

Iā€™ll share only the stable ones that wonā€™t likely go out of business agad and those that have huge potential kahit bago, and are truly useful for Pinoy freelancers like us.

Got it? Good.

Today I'm going a different route. I'm sharing a course instead of apps. Kasi it's also a tool we use.

Now for many of you already in this list, Iā€™ve talked about the Self-Sabotage Sigbin just a few days back. Itā€™s this imaginary creature na lumalamon ng self-doubt, procrastination at fear of failure.

This guy here with 5 legs.

Now the framework I want to start is to visualize all our bad habits and good habits, and externalize them as avatars para we can see what we're dealing with, and therefore take clear steps on how to deal with them.

Kind of like an app with characters for monitoring and combating Self-Sabotage.

So eto na nga, the Sigbin grows larger and stronger every time you feed it with self-doubt, procrastination, fear of rejection, and other negative emotions that sabotage your success.

Pero weā€™re not entirely defenseless.

We can summon powerful beings to our aid as well.

And so, the Talaga Namang Tikbalang was born. Haha.

image

Talaga namang Tikbalang kasi sya.

This Tikbalang is a proud hero from the Hippodromo Horse Tribe.

Yung power nya ay Tikbalang Forteā„¢ or TF which deals +10 Strength and +10 Focus to the caster

Itā€™s rather maarte though, kasi it will only help you kung may powerful weapons ka. Youā€™re still with me naman right? haha

So letā€™s say lalagyan natin sya ng equipment. (Don't scroll down too fast)

Which one would you pick?

image

Yes magaling ako mag-drawing, hehe

Pero mas magaling imagination mo, so I didnā€™t need to flex my artistic skills na lol

Instinctively you would go for the one with made of metal instead of wood, kasi it would make things so much easier.

The wooden sword represents our crude efforts at reaching out and talking to prospects. Most freelancers use a wooden sword, thinking na pwede na ito sa situation.

Um.. no.

Of course youā€™d be discouraged agad after your first few tries because youā€™ll see how ineffective your efforts are. This is why so many freelancers give up agad.

Donā€™t bring a wooden sword to a gunfight, as the saying somewhat goes.

Now kung may dala kang metal sword, that would make things go in your favor right? Youā€™d be totally happy na diba?

Pero what if you brought this instead?

Yung one hit lang, vaporized agad kalaban mo. Hahaha

CoaSH naman! Ano toooh?

In the real world, I think I may have discovered just the equivalent thing - that ultra powerful weapon that can help vanquish the client, este the Sigbin!

This legendary weapon is called the CTG.

Or the plasma hand cannon that can turn Cold Prospects into Client Gold.

As the name suggests, it can transform your freezing cold outreach efforts into gold hard pera!

Hehehe

Hay naku grabe namang segue yan CoaSH! Bebentahan mo lang pala kami!

Wait lang guysh, hear me out.

With this mighty weapon in hand, wala nang makakapigil sayo!

hays pinilit mo pa din talaga eeeeee

JOIN MEEEE!! and together tayo magwawagi laban sa Sigbin! Chant it with me!

#sigbinitowinit!

Hahahaha

Joke lang! Not selling anything. Lakas lang ng trip ko.

The CTG Gang actually has a FREE webinar this coming Friday around 8PM. Itā€™s the second one in the series, and I was lucky to have attended the first one, last friday.

Now as a person who also has very high open rates and reply rates, ahem..

image

This guy is said to be the inventor of the original drunk cold email, and going by our conversations while having beerā€¦ I can believe that.

Heā€™s literally made his millions cold emailing gigantic corporations and has worked with The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, BBC, Time Magazine, The Verge, Venturebeat, Time Out, Channel4 News, Entrepreneur, Inc, Gizmondo, The Huffington Post, Hubspot, London Evening Standard, Yahoo News, Engadget, and countless others news websites.

Tapos sabi nya sa akin was: This is the best thing anyone has ever sent me.

Not only that, sabi nya rin to:

Not only did I cold email the cold email king of the whole of europe, he also gave me his best material for free.. On the same day.

Not that Iā€™m flexing, but I just want to say na meron din akong alam sa cold email kahit papano, but when I found out they were teaching people how to do it, I felt a sigh of relief.

Di ko na need gawin! Makakapag-pahinga ako! Hahaha

So I went to watch their free webinar last friday, and even if I know a few things about outreach, I learned a lot pa din sa kanila!

Tapos meron uli Free Webinar this coming Friday October 6 at 8PM! Just go to SAAS Marketing PH FB Group, and theyā€™ll hook you up.

Yan lang talaga gusto kong sabihin. Hahaha

Watch the webinar kasi youā€™ll learn the best practices in LinkedIN Leadgen and Cold Email that can help turn you into an unstoppable client-getting juggernaut..

..if you do the actual work. Syempre kulang yung isa or dalawang webinar. Let's be honest lang Hehe

Thatā€™s all muna for today.

Seriously watch the FB Live, and thank me later.

I already bought into it kahit may free webinars pa sila kasi I saw the value in it agad before they do a price increase.

In case you learn something from this coming webbie masterclass, let me know. If you do end up somehow getting into their course, mention me na lang din just for fun.

Heck you can even tell them na Shoden thinks the course is a plasma weapon that shoots Sigbins in the face. (they won't get it, but probably matatawa sila)

Osha, I think I had too much fun na yata for the day.

Cheers!

ā˜•ļø Send Me Some Coffee. If you liked this particularly weird but hopefully informative and somewhat entertaining email, help me reinforce this habit by training my brain to look forward to cooking up these crazy notions lol. Send any small amount here to fuel my addiction to writing daily emails lol. For starters, 35 lang brewed coffee sa 7-11, pero syempre who am I to say no kung gusto mo ako i-libre ng Starbucks? ahaha

ā˜ ļø Too many emails from me? I totally understand the need to declutter your inbox. Haha ako nga nagsabi na mag-declutter ka e. I hope my tips have helped you work smarter as a freelancer. No hard feelings. Just click below (may maliit na link dyan na kulay grey).
