🔥 ChatGPT just released the kraken, again

Ey !

Commercial break muna tayo from the serious drama emails that eat too much of my brain to write.

Let's talk about something TOTALLY GAME-CHANGING that happened yesterday. And I don't take this lightly.

Let me show it to you.

I uploaded a simple family photo of us hanging out at a coffee shop, and told chatgpt 40 to create a comic book page, and not much context.

Here's what it came up with.

HOREEEE SHEEEETOOOO

Remember that time when AI tools were just for fun-fun memes and making your friends look like anime characters?

Well... that time is officially over.

🚨 BREAKING: ChatGPT just released a mind-blowing update to their image generation capabilities — and if you're a creative freelancer, VA, strategist, or anyone who touches visuals in your work... this is your sign to sit up straight and pay attention.

So, ano’ng meron?

The new update lets ChatGPT generate super detailed, highly realistic images through natural language prompts. As in, you just type what you want to see, and BAM — visuals appear like magic.

Sure may weird thing pa with the speech bubbles and may persistent peace sign (that's common in Japanese culture) but man, that's the worst it will ever be. Things will only ever improve from here.

“Shoden, hindi ba may ganyan na dati?” Yes, pero this one’s on steroids. Faster. Smarter. Mas accurate yung details. It’s like Midjourney and DALL-E had a baby... then gave it coffee and redbull na may viagra"

But more importantly... what does this mean for us?

1. You can now offer high-quality graphics even if you “can’t draw.”

That means: proposals with custom mockups, pitch decks with unique visuals, and social media posts na hindi na stock photo ang peg.

No Photoshop? No problem.

One prompt = one client-impressing asset.

2. You now compete with agencies, as a solo freelancer.

Think: branding packages na may image ideation, mock product shots, moodboards — all generated in minutes.

Ang tanong na lang: do you know how to prompt?

Kasi kung kaya mong i-translate ang ideas ng client into image prompts, you just unlocked a whole new income stream.

3. The “AI Specialist VA” is now a legit title.

Serious ka sa niche mo?

Add this to your value stack:

  • Image generation for content teams
  • Visual storytelling for influencers
  • Ad mockups for ecom clients

Pwedeng per-image ang bayad... or per-project. Either way, that’s extra income potential.

Pero Shoden... di ba nakakatakot tong AI?

Sure. It’s easy to feel na “AI is coming for my job.” But real talk tayo.

AI isn’t replacing freelancers. Freelancers who use AI will replace those who don’t.

Now, another real talk lang ulit — as artists, my wife and I felt a tinge of rage, and sadness too. 🥲

Another big slice of the creative process — the messy, beautiful, hard-earned part — just got automated.

And yes, you AI... ikaw ‘to, ChatGPT. Gedemet.

It feels like losing a little ritual, a sacred thing that took time, that we once did by hand and heart.

But here’s the thing: creation was never just about the tools.

When photography started gaining traction, a lot of painters — especially those trained in realism — were in denial.

“What do you mean you just point a box at something and press a button?!”

“We spent years mastering shading and perspective!”

Artists and critics argued that photography wasn’t real art, since the machine was doing all the work. It was mechanical. Too easy. Lacked soul.

But here’s the kicker...

📸 Over time...

Photography became its own art form.

Not just a shortcut — but a new medium with its own rules, aesthetics, and forms of expression.

People explored composition, lighting, emotion, storytelling.

And now? Photographers win Pulitzers. They spark revolutions. They create timeless images that move the world.

It’s about what we choose to make with them.

Tools evolve. But the storyteller, the artist, the strategist behind the prompt?

That’s still you, .

So rather than mourn what’s gone, maybe it’s time we get excited about what’s possible.

We’re at the start of a new era. Just like the time the whole world first came online, the whole internet is shifting again, and this time, it's moving faster than ever.

Let's ride the wave together,

Shoden “Promptotoro” San

P.S. This tech is too powerful to ignore.
