[💡wfunhome] Tuesday Tools Roundup 🛠️ (October 24 Edition)

Oct 24, 2023 11:01 am

Yo Work Fun Nation,

It’s time for another Tuesday Tools Roundup, where I share Tools and Apps that I’ve personally tested, so you don’t have to!

Here’s how this goes. Every Tuesday, I’ll share only a couple of tools para you don't go insane.

Marami talagang basura apps out there that don’t really work and are just cashing in on the gold rush that is AI (sometimes, they're just calling it AI-powered daw kahit hindi naman.)

Ako na mag-reresearch kasi hobby ko talaga mag-discover the apps.

I’ll share only the stable ones that won’t likely go out of business agad and those that have huge potential kahit bago, and are truly useful for Pinoy freelancers like us.

Got it? Good.

Today we're going to talk about tools that help you with email and outreach:

🔗 ChatGPT Writer

Not too unique in that it helps answer emails using AI. And this one uses.. you guessed it ChatGPT!

I've tested more than two dozen email writers at this point, and this is the only FREE one that works like a charm with Gmail! (meaning maayos yung mga generated texts nya most of the time)

Wala din ads, no cookies, no third-party trackers.

It's all about giving you a smooth and hassle-free experience. Plus, it's compatible with all those popular browsers like Chrome, Brave, and Edge.

So you can use it no matter which one you prefer.

All you do is install the extension, click the icon, type in your message, and hit the Generate Response button.

If you're a Gmail user, just launch the extension from the icon in the text editor and click Generate Reply for a personalized email response.

🔗 The Reply Project

The Reply Project is a super handy tool that lets you reply to a lot of emails faster! It's perfect for those times when you're drowning in your inbox and need to speed things up.

With this tool, all your emails are neatly organized on one screen, making it easy to respond using templates or ChatGPT, a helpful chatbot that assists with email replies.

Wait, CoaSH diba the tool above also uses ChatGPT to write emails? Naulit yata?

Why do I use duplicate tools? Because why not?

I use multiple competing paid and free AI writing tools. Most of the time I make GPT, Claude, Bing, and Duck Assist cross-check each other and see who has the best replies, and I check it against other sources.

There is no such thing as an all-in-one AI tool so far kasi.

Anywho, freelancers who use email to do outreach are going to love the Reply Project!

It goes beyond just speeding up your replies.

You can break Gmail's sending limits, merge emails with Google Sheets, get detailed campaign analytics reports, and personalize your emails with conditional logic.

Let that sink in for a minute. Those features typically exist in paid SAAS tools only. The kind that people would pay 99$ a month for.

But that's not all.

The Reply Project also offers automatic follow-up sequences to boost your response rates, the ability to schedule or repeat mail merges, and even add quick surveys to your campaigns.

You can also send new campaigns as replies to previous messages or target specific segments of your past campaigns.

You can verify email addresses before sending, and create templates for future use.

Oh, did I mention that it's a totally FREE to use Google Chrome extension?

It's a game-changer for sure!

Pst,  I'm checking if people actually read my emails lang. Reply ka with 1239047 in your email if you even saw this sentence and you found this tool helpful. I'm collecting replies to see if it's worth it to continue the Tuesday Tools segment.

My analytics kasi on this show a decline sa opens over time, so baka pwede natin i-sunset yung segment na to. Hindi biro mag-research and test ng maraming crappy tools only to be ignored ha. If you think may value ito, please find the time to reply.

Anyway, end rant. Lol

🔗 How To Stop Self Sabotage (HTSSS) Ebook (on Pre-Sale until Nov 1)

Not an app or software, but a tool nonetheless. I wrote this as a way to fix the bad mindset that's been conditioned in me growing up. I believe even if we know the tools, the strategy, the courses, and have the community, there's still something inside of us that holds us back from success as freelancers.

This short 50++ (and counting) page ebook walks you through the root causes of self-sabotage and provides science-based techniques to effectively deal with it.

Here's what you'll discover inside:

- The most common forms of self-sabotage among Pinoy freelancers, and how to spot them in your own behavior

- How self-doubt, impostor syndrome, and other "mental monsters" undermine success, and models on how to treat them

- Growth mindset techniques to turn failures into lessons and persist through setbacks

- Neuroplasticity and how to "rewire" your brain for productivity and self-discipline

- Strategies from psychology and neuroscience to build unstoppable confidence

- How to silence your inner critic and overcome fear, perfectionism, and analysis paralysis

- Methods for sustaining focus, motivation, and consistency long-term as a freelancer

- And much, much more!

Whether you struggle with procrastination, limiting beliefs, perfectionism, or anything else holding you back - this book will help you break the cycle of self-sabotage for good.

That's it muna for this week!
