Keeping You Close came out Thursday. I have a confession: I was very stressed about this launch! Not the book itself, but because each launch is so different. A week before, there was a major glitch that lead to new books not displaying right. The day of, there is always *something* (in this case, the book wasn’t in KU until I manually added it in the morning). And of course, I’m (along with my family) still recovering from a bad case of that-thing-that-we-don’t-talk-about.

Suffice to say, I was a bit of a mess. And when I saw how much love Layla+Will’s story was getting on Day 1, I didn’t even celebrate. I just kind of went into shock.

But now that the shock has settled, I’m so thrilled to see people are loving the book. Each book is personal in its own way, and when readers (like you) respond positively, reading the book, telling friends, reviewing, or even just liking it enough to join the newsletter, it’s a special feeling. So let me just say a heartfelt thank you for that.
