Dear << Test First Name >> —
I know. You've had it up to here with news!
And views, for that matter. What with the Trump era coming to a close and everything. Are we now in for a radical political shift, or just a new coat of varnish on the imperial project?
I think you know where I land with that question, which brings me to two new books I have coming out in February. I'm writing to let you know both are now available at the pre-order price of $0.99 at the following links...
The Covid Prophecies: A Healing Message for Troubled Times (Feb. 5)
I have heard countless warnings about how governments are exploiting this 'crisis' to exert yet more control on their populations. Well, Pharaoh tried the same thing after Moses brought plague to his door and demanded the abolition of slavery. But in the end, Moses prevailed, the freed people were laden with treasure, and sent on their way to the Promised Land. And what happened to the stubborn leader? Met his doom in the Red Sea, drowned by his own hubris!
Through short stories, prose pieces, and poetry, this book responds to Covid's challenges with love rather than fear, and forsees a path of healing for planet, peoples, and species. Meanwhile, corporate structures of exploitation are already beginning to crumble! Hear my Introduction to the book here. The Covid Prophecies are in turn distilled from...
The Verses Versus Empire Collection (Feb. 26)
Updated at the close of Trump's term, this vast collection combines three volumes of short stories, articles, and poetry. With prophetic voice, it exposes and documents 20 years of corporate misrule under three imperial presidencies.
And when I say 20 years, I don't just mean it's covering 20 years, I mean it took 20 years, starting with George W.'s Hoedown, which I sing here. I have kept this project going ever since! This second book is therefore a better deal than the first, but then again, you may not have time to read 800+ pages!
Finally, in other news, I and thousands of other authors are locked in a battle with Amazon's audiobook subsidiary, Audible. If you didn't receive a notification from me about this before, please my audiobooks elsewhere for reasons I set out on my Audiobook Page.
Here's hoping all is well,
Abdiel
