Dear —
Greetings from England, and a warm welcome to my Historical and Biblical Fiction Readers List. I hope you are enjoying your free copy of The Prince's Oath. I have also just released my audiobook narration, available at these links or ask for it at your local library.
If you have found blessing in my book, I'd be delighted if you could say a couple of sentences in review here on Amazon.com or wherever you normally buy books.
(You don't need to have officially purchased it on Amazon to do this, but just add a sentence at the close of your review saying something like "I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.")
As you will have gathered from the Preface, The Prince's Oath honors a promise I made to a dear friend and owner of an Afghan restaurant in midtown Manhattan. He outlined the plot to me from a traditional tale handed down through the generations of his family, and of course I invented around it!
As I love to do...
Inventing around a plot is also the approach I used with Elijah, my novel-length poem based on the great prophet's life as described in the Old Testament, and with Jezebel's Lament, a novela now free at all retailers.
But other stories, such as The Christmas Tree, I invented from scratch.
So that's a bit of introduction to my fiction. I also work as an actor and thus record most of my own audiobooks, making them available for direct purchase at deeply discounted prices here. (The blue covers are 'PG'-rated stories, and the black covers 'R'-rated.)
Finally, as you may have gathered from the About the Author section of my book, I love yoga and (when lockdowns are not mandated) competitive swimming and Argentine Tango.
So again, welcome to my Historical and Biblical Fiction Readers List. I'll be in touch again soon and occasionally let you know what I'm doing in other genres.
Cheers for now,
Abdiel
