Sorry it's Been So Long

Hello

It's been a long time.

Far too long since my last email. Sorry.

After all this time, I bet you've forgotten I exist.

So here's a quick update of the highlights in the Withington household.

On the Ocean Waves

In April-May 2022, I did my first cruise speaking gig.

Yep, I was actually invited to do some lectures on a cruise ship. The Saga Spirit of Adventure. Sailing around Croatia and the Central Med.

What did you do, David?

I simplified practical techie stuff. Things like how to use brilliant free Google tools such as Google Lens, how to beat scammers at their own game, online shopping made easy, confidence with email...

The feedback was incredibly rewarding. Seeing people get to grips with technology that they never thought they could.

We've just got back from the fifth cruise, doing the same thing. And that satisfying feeling of helping people succeed with techie stuff was still there.

Here's a photo of starting off a lecture a few weeks ago:

And I didn't tell too many jokes... honest!

But it is a play on words. It's called Tech it Easy for a reason.

Funny

On a cruise, the food is so good, it's easy to put on weight. But I think I've found a solution.

The question is... how many boxes of these thin mints do I have to eat before I see any results?

Your Summer

What a summer it's been. Lots of incredible warm days stretching well beyond the twilight.

What's your favourite memory of summer?

Until Next Time

Until next time - and hopefully not too long...

David
