Hedgehogs & Virtual Book Clubs

Hi

Hope you're well.

Spike

Yesterday, in our garden, we saw a hedgehog.

Yes, during the daytime.

It looked poorly - so we asked on Facebook, decided it needed medical treatment, and my wife drove it to a vet.

Diagnosis?

It was hungry.

Apparantly, there's a lack of slugs and snails this year - so the hungry hedgehogs have to venture out during the day in search of food.

On the way home, my wife bought some dog food and returned "Spike" to the garden to enjoy his feast and then wander back home to sleep and recover.

She's left a cardboard box on its side in the garden... just in case Spike returns for a snack or a drink or a snooze.

He was such a cute little character. Do they make good pets?

1deas

Here's something I wrote recently.

Nope - not on my own website. It's on another website I have... called 1deas. Yes, I know "ideas" isn't spelt correctly. But someone else had already bought that domain name - so I bought "1deas" instead.

Because of the restrictions, we've had to do many things from home. So it got the imagination flowing. Why can't we do a Book Club from home.

Here's the short article...

Joke

My friend is dating a girl called Rosemary.

I don't know what he season her.

Hope you have a great week.

Best wishes

David
