Make room for spontaneity and fun

Hi
In a few hours' time I will be delivering a live workshop, the first in a series of 10. Normally I would have planned every single one to a tee, or "la sange" as we say in Romania (the literal translation is "to the blood").
However, lately I've started to leave some room for spontaneity and, why not, for fun. I want to allow the workshops to flow depending on the energy in the room and where the participants want to take it.
Of course I have prepared the content, but I'm not so hung up on what exactly I'm going to say and rehearsing every single slide.
18 months ago I would have thought that this approach is unprofessional, but today I find it liberating and a courtesy to the participants. The workshops are just as much theirs as they are mine, so I want to act like it.
What about you? Are you allowing room for spontaneity in your coaching business and if so, how do you do it? Hit reply and let me know, I'd love to hear from you.
Take care,
Alisa
