WD: milestones, free coaching and mindset

Hey

I hope you had a good week so far. Mine was fairly busy, with lots of meetings and negotiating some new projects that I'll share with you once they are 'official'. Until then, here is this week's digest to take you into the weekend.

🤩 On Sunday I woke up to 200 YouTube subscribers 🎉! It's a joy and a privilege to share my knowledge and experience with others and see them respond so positively. You can read more about it in this dedicated LI post.

If you are a subscriber , thank you! I appreciate your support more than you know 🙏. If you're not yet subscribed, but you are considering it, I'd love for you to join The Savvy Corner community on YouTube.

🎥 Since I mentioned YouTube, in my latest video I talk about how to move from free coaching to charging for your services. I touch upon the rationale behind free coaching and why, unfortunately, it doesn't work, as well as share tips and strategies for moving into paid coaching. Have a watch here.

📰 After 9 days of sitting in their queue, The Ascent (a publication on Medium) finally accepted and published my latest Medium article 'Run Your Business Like an Owner - Not an Employee'. Seven days (or more) is the average waiting time for a big publication, especially for writers who are new on Medium, like myself. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait.

Some of the big publications have automatic curation power, and judging that all my articles published in The Ascent have been curated, I killed two birds with one stone. The article is also doing well for stats (views, reads, claps, etc.) and I have already been approached by another publication to have it featured on their website.

Overall a very good week for me so far and it's not over yet. I have a business development meeting later today and will be recording a podcast guest interview tomorrow. The fun never stops!

That's it for this week’s content, . I hope you enjoy it and feel free to share it with other people if you think it might benefit them.

Until next time, stay savvy.
