When I started off as a personal finance coach in 2017 I naively thought that I would spend the majority of the time I had available to dedicate to my business engaged in coaching conversations. I soon found out that wasn't the reality of running a coaching business.

As a coach, one can expect to spend about 30% of their time coaching, with the rest of their activities focused on running the business.

A while ago I wrote an article about the 8 roles I play in my business as a solopreneur, from the CEO to the janitor. You might have come across that article if you've been following me for a while.

That piece of content became the basis of a 10-week signature program I delivered for the Association for Coaching which received glowing reviews. And now, I filmed a video about it which you can watch here or by clicking the photo below.

There might come a time when your business will function without you, but until then you’ll need to play several roles to make sure things run smoothly.
