WD: motivation, 10K views and helpful content

Happy Friday,

I cannot influence the weather this weekend (rain is forecasted where I live), but I can send some good vibes via the content I created this week.

📽 My video on why coaches want to give up and how to stay motivated as a coach has been very well received. I know throwing in the towel is something many coaches consider when things don't seem to move in the right direction as fast as they expect them to.

This is why I filmed a video on the topic, to encourage them to keep going and share some of the things that motivate me and my clients when the going gets tough.

🎉 Speaking of videos, I reached two great milestones on my YouTube channel this week - 10,000 views and 400 subscribers. I am so excited and grateful to everyone who watches my videos and gives me feedback on them.

YouTube is hard work, but the response and encouragement from my community are what motivates me to keep releasing a video every week. These milestones are also a good reminder of progress and what can be achieved with dedication and perseverance. If you're not subscribed already and would like to join The Savvy Corner YouTube community, you can do so here.

📰 I've been on Medium long enough to know how to play the game. I know what I need to do to increase the chances of an article getting curated (i.e. chosen for further distribution on the platform), but delivering value to my readers is more important to me than pleasing an algorithm.

I shared a story about my most popular Medium article to date which was not chosen for further distribution, but it surpassed all my other curated pieces in this LinkedIn post.

That's it for this week, . Feel free to share any of the above with other people if you think it might benefit them - or even better, invite them to join my email list via this link.

Until next time, stay savvy.
