WD: the business of coaching, expectations and prices
Nov 13, 2020 5:21 pm
Hey
How has this week been so far? I hope you're ready for the weekend and for a dose of education/inspiration from me. Here is this week's digest.
🤔 Shortly after I started my coaching business I realised that I was spending a lot more time managing the business than coaching clients. That is still the case today and many other coaches have confirmed the same.
However, new coaches tend to overestimate the number of hours they will spend coaching, and that false expectation impacts on their entire business strategy. I talk more about it here.
🎥 This week's video was my response to the overwhelming amount of information available online about what you need to start a coaching business. I demystify some myths and simplify the process to only include 3 things.
The rest are nice to have, but not mandatory to get started. It's a short 8 min video, grab a drink and give it a watch if you haven't already.
📝 Every once in a while I share parts of coaching conversations I have with clients. This time it was about prices, one of my favourite topics and possibly what I get asked the most as a financial coach. You can read the extract here.
That's it for this week’s content, . I hope you enjoy it and feel free to share it with other people if you think it might benefit them.
Until next time, stay savvy.
