WD: becoming a fellow and an annoyed client

It's Friday again and you know what that means - the weekly digest is here.


🎉 ACCA (The Associaton for Chartered Certified Accountants) reached out to me to let me know that I am now an ACCA fellow. This not only means that it's been five years since I qualified as an accountant, but also that I have been adhering to high standards for all this time. 5 years! I cannot believe it! They even sent me a celebratory video which I shared on LinkedIn.


🎥 This week's video was prompted by an unpleasant experience I had as a potential customer. I was 85% convinced I wanted to buy something, I had a meeting with a representative of an organisation and within the first few minutes, I reconsidered my decision to purchase. It made me realise how important it is not to p*ss your customers off.
