WD: assumptions, questions and skills

Hey

It's time for another weekly digest to ease your way into the weekend.

📖 After revisiting The Success Principles by Jack Canfield, I redefined what "my best" means and included positive assumptions in the definition. So often we assume against ourselves when attempting something, only to justify a potentially negative outcome. I'm not sure that is the best approach - I wrote my thoughts about it here.

🎥 This week's video addresses the numerous questions and concerns I got from my community with regards to niches. "Can I only have one niche? What if I don't want to niche down? Do I really have to? I can coach anyone."

The reality is that without a niche you risk getting lost in a sea of other coaches or creators who are in the business of "helping people". Fair enough, but WHO can you help and HOW?

Make sure you watch the video if you still haven't nailed your niche. Actually, watch it even if you did. A refresher is always welcome and at the end of the video I also talk about common mistakes people make when choosing a niche.

🎉 On Thursday I had the wonderful surprise of seeing my latest Medium article featured on the front page of The Ascent, next to stories from two writers I hugely admire - Tim Denning and Jon Brosio.

It's a piece dedicated to coaches, creators and service-based business owners who wish to build a successful business.

Every once in a while I like to share testimonials online. It's not only good practice for increasing social proof, but browsing through my clients' feedback gives me huge joy and gratitude.

I figured that after I got so annoyed last week with the fake reviews company, I needed a dose of real feedback. This one came from the organiser of an event I did for The Association for Coaching on financial resilience .

Enjoy this week’s content, and feel free to share it with other people if you think it might benefit them.

Until next time, stay savvy.
