WD: stories, bad clients and fake reviews

Happy Friday !
Where has this week gone? It flew by for me - a very productive week that warrants a well-deserved break. I'm taking half a day off today, but not before sending you the weekly digest.
📖 There is a lot of talk in the marketing world about sharing with your clients the story of how you've been where they are now and your success in overcoming that situation.
My financial story is not identical to that of my clients and I don't think it needs to be. My credibility as a coach is not affected by my story. Storytelling is powerful, but you don't need to have walked in your clients' shoes necessarily in order to help them get the results they want. I talk more about this subject here.
🎥 This week's video is all about the red flags you should be aware of when talking to a prospect. There are certain signs of a potentially bad client that can help you make a decision of whether to work with someone or not.
One of my pet peeves is when prospects are disrespectful of my time and show up late for our meeting or reschedule at the last minute. That's just one red flag, but there are many others. Here is the video highlighting how to spot potentially difficult clients.
📧 Recently I received an email asking me if I'd like to buy some 5-star reviews! I cannot believe companies like this one exist. It infuriated me so much that I decided to post about it to raise awareness of this issue (and vent my frustration).
Enjoy this week’s content, and feel free to share it with other people if you think it might benefit them.
Until next time, stay savvy.
