Good evening

I dont feel so good tonight, it was a long day, together with the fact that none of you has sent a reply mail since we started, its almost as if i am on my own. this challenge was supposed to have all of us who signed up involved but all i can see is the opposite. Why if i may ask? if you are reading this do reply, say something, that way i know we are in this together.

chapter 3 of the book of Luke has a bit of history in it, tells us about king Herold and his brother Philip. then talks about john the son of Zechariah and the time he spent in the wilderness.

the bible records that he went into Jordan preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins as it was written in the book of the words of prophet Isiah.(read verse 3-6).

From verse 7 we read of him answering the questions of those who came to be baptized. Even the task collectors who came had questions too.

in verse 15, when the people thought in their minds that john might be the messiah, we read john's answer in verse 16 and verse 17. however Herod and his brothers wife Herodias locked up john in prison.

We read in verse 21 and 22 of how Jesus was baptized and how the holy spirit descended on him. from verse 23-end there is a breakdown of the genealogy of Jesus Christ. *dont lie did you read this part or did you skip it*

We have come to the end of today's study, before i go i want to tell you this. it is very important to pay attention to genealogy when studying your bible. i myself dont like studying it but i wont skip it, there is so much to know about Jesus, genealogy included so dont skip it the next time you come across it.

Have a lovely night rest

God loves you.
