Who cares about my tacos?

LATEST NEWS & UPDATE:
Happy April, y'all!
I say it every week/month/year, but this year totally feels like it's going past at a rapid rate. Is it just me? I can't believe we're already into Q2. Did I even come close to hitting any of my Q1 goals? Who the hell knows? It all went by in such a freakin' blur, I don't know which way is up.
It feels like I've barely gotten past Christmas and dipped my toes into 2025, and yet, we're already on our way into the Summer.
I love Spring. During these months I'm a walking stereotype. I step outside at the first sign of some Vitamin D coming through the clouds from the big-ass ball in the sky, I purge the shit out of every cupboard, drawer, and box in my house, and I get the urge to do something new and different.
That specific urge hit a little earlier than expected this year, and I'm hoping to have a preorder link up and ready to share with you soon. It's book ONE in a NEW series, new sport, new country - and I'm very excited about the whole thing. And before y'all inundate my inbox, yes, Artemis is still getting a book. No, his story won't be next on my release radar.
This past Sunday was Mother's Day here in the UK. I usually don't celebrate UK Mother's Day (my kid was born in the US, and we've always celebrated American Mother's Day) but this year, we went out to lunch in Belfast on Saturday. While we were in town, I got a glimpse of myself in my 11 year old that made me both cringe and laugh in almost equal measure (if not at the same time.)
My wee man was hungry, didn't eat before we left (like I of course told him to,) and he went from hungry to hangry in the blink of an eye. The angrier he got, the more worked up and upset he got (there were even tears at one point.) And at one point he just blew his stack, "No one cares about your tacos, mama!"
In the moment, it was hard not to laugh, but looking back I am so very grateful that I have (thus far) raised a son who - at his worst moments - didn't say he hated me, didn't get mean about me, he just dissed my lunch choices because it wasn't the Subway sandwich he wanted to demolish.
It won't last, he'll undoubtedly tell me how much he hates me over the coming teenage/puberty years, but for now, I'll take the win. And bet your ass I hugged him so hard <3
And my tacos were utterly delicious, to boot (Lewis agrees!)
Next up in our sports, freebie round robin is Making the Call by Amanda Shelley. A romance author and young NFL coach collide in this football romance.
Until next time,

Thor:
Protocol. Routine. Control.
Not anymore.
My life turned on a dime in the blink of an eye. From making pancakes for the curvy redhead I met at the club, to being the single dad of an autistic, eleven-year-old boy.
I need help.
She needs a job.
I’m usually a one-and-done kind of guy, but she draws me in, holding me hostage with her green eyes and sass.
I’m playing with fire. But maybe this time, I want to burn.
Addison:
Things I expect after a one night stand: breakfast, small talk, maybe even another O before the awkward walk of shame in last night’s clothes.
I don’t expect to open the door to his house and find a kid surrounded by all his earthly possessions.
Fired from my job, homeless, and the perpetual screw-up of my family... How can I even think about caring for someone else’s child when I’m incapable of looking after myself?
**Please note** This book contains one pseudo-MMF scene where one M acts as a mentor to another though it is not a full MMF/doing-the-deed scene.

I thought I’d left my past in Minnesota when I moved to Iowa, but it was right there waiting for me.
Long blonde hair, curves in all the right places, and a death glare that hits harder than a slap shot to the solar plexus. On the ice, I’m a pro at blocking shots, but Savannah Bowen has slipped behind all my defenses and made a home in my heart.
I had no intention of revisiting the past, but when she’s damn near everywhere I go, I’m a goner.
Savannah
Hell freakin’ no.
It doesn’t matter that Justin Ashe is seven feet tall and sexy as sin, or that I’ve had a crush on him for years. He cheated on my best friend in high school, and that makes him off limits.
I can’t be with him, but damn, it’s impossible to stay away from him. Girl Code says uteruses before duderuses.
He’s supposed to be my enemy, but the more I see of him, the blurrier the lines get.
