Who remembers Rhiannon and Robert?

LATEST NEWS & UPDATE:
Howdy, y'all,
I'll be honest, it's been a rough ride lately. Between stupid sickness that won't leave, my son changing to 'big' school, and a dev edit that left me questioning what in the world I think I'm doing trying to be an author, things have been a little low.
I haven't done much promo for Fly-Half.
I'm a terrible book mama. I know this.
But I'm working so hard to make this story everything it needs to be. I really am. I normally do the work. I write the book, throw it through rounds of editing, make changes I need to make, and send it out into the world. I don't normally have the same kind of time I have given myself to sort out Fly-Half. I don't normally have months between releases to edit, you know?
The pressure is real.
With this book, this series, I really want to level up. I want you guys to pick up this book and think, "Wow. This is her best book yet." And with that intention, with that determination, comes a whole cosmic crap-ton of fear, a boatload of insecurity, and I can tell you, my therapist is earning his money right now.
This book isn't easy. It really isn't. Writing an eldest daughter while being an eldest daughter... oof. Writing a disabled main character while also not being disabled though having spent the last two years battling chronic pain has been... humbling.
Rhiannon and Robert jump off the page. My editor said that you can tell I'm writing about a place that I love (the town where I live right now), and it has all the regular elements you've come to know and love from a Lasairiona novel (including a to do list!!)
Anyway, here's a teaser, if you haven't yet preordered it, I'd appreciate it. Mostly because I could do with the head pats that people are excited for the book, but also so it's already done and auto delivers to your Kindle on release day. (But mostly for my self-confidence, OBVIOUSLY LOL!)
If you're so inclined, hit 'reply' and tell me what your absolute favourite part of a Lasairiona book is. Before you even open the cover, what's the one thing you know going in that you're going to get out of reading one of my books?
October's freebie is an audiobook! Claiming Carter by Jennifer Bonds is a spicy hate-to-want-you new adult sports romance featuring a forbidden relationship, a STEM heroine, found family, and plenty of locker room shenanigans.
Until next time, happy reading!!

Desperate Pucker by Sarah Smith
I’m one of the oldest hockey players in the NHL and recovering from an injury, which means one thing: I’ve got one chance to make a comeback, or my career is over. I’m working with my team’s new skating coach, Maddy Macer, to get me back into shape so I can play again. One problem: we can’t stand each other.

As the name suggests, it's a place for my readers to chat about all things romance - with a healthy dose of sarcasm, sharp wit, conversations comprised entirely of GIFs, sneak peeks, giveaways and a plethora of memes. It's one of my absolute favorite places on the internet and I'm really enjoying getting to know readers that bit better over there. Don't be shy - we don't bite... much! Come on over!
