It's time for a quick business update!

I am exhausted, y'all. Every time I think I'm inching my way out of burnout, I'll have a day where it makes me feel like a slug. Then I have a few of those days in a row, and I wonder if I'm ever getting out of this pit.

I will. I know I will. I'm seeing more of the good days glimmering through the exhaustion, I'm getting good advice from my coaches, and I'm listening to my body. I'm sleeping better/longer, and trying to show myself grace which is the hardest of all.

Why are we such dicks to ourselves?

That's not the point of my email, but it's a good question nonetheless.

The point of my email is to tell you that I'm working on building a more sustainable business for myself. Four releases in eleven weeks is unsustainable. It truly is, and while I don't have another release until November, I'm beyond pooped.

Don't panic, I'm not pulling my books from Kindle Unlimited or anything. You will still have access to all my main series content in Kindle Unlimited.

As I've been saying for a while now, my novellas won't be in KU any more, however, those will be on Amazon only, as eBooks, and on my Ream subscription platform for a while, and maybe when I get more energy I'll move them wide. But for now, they don't make me any money in Kindle Unlimited because they're so short, and I at least need for my books to be in the black.

I'm writing a Ream-only novel for my paid subscribers. It's slow, coming out a chapter at a time in dribs and drabs, but it's coming. It's called Surprise Protocol and is book one in the Cedar Rapids Protocol series.

I polled my followers to help me with the details to get started, and I'm a few chapters in. It's an MMF menage, Madeline (a florist), Theo (electrician/painter), and Hayes (a carpenter/painter) and their journey to a happily ever after. Y'all. I normally plot my books out way deeper than I ever did with this, so I'm having a lot of fun.

My subscribers are helping me make decisions at points throughout the book, too. It's the steamy choose your own adventure you didn't know you needed! The first chapter is currently available for my followers for free.
