Happy Thursday, y'all!

I'm back from the wilds of a week in Sligo with Editor Jess and some of my very favorite Author friends. It was everything I needed it to be. I didn't get a lot of words down, but we did a business planning course together, as well as marketing work, some of the girls needed help with titles or series names... it was a bit of a think tank, a mastermind among friends.

We each brought our problem children to the table and everyone got a little help fixing their shit. It was glorious. I think my favorite part of the whole week was taking a walk down to the water past the couple herds of cows who didn't judge my obnoxious singing, and scream-singing at the top of my lungs into the Atlantic.

My second favorite part was celebrating Friendsgiving with these beautiful women. Something truly magical happens when you surround yourself by amazing people who want to lift each other up. And I left Sligo with a full heart, and a bucket overflowing from smushing cuddles that got weird because we held on for too long.

For Friendsgiving, we sat around the table drinking Las-a-ritas (margaritas) and eating roast chicken and ham (I cooked FOUR chickens which lasted us for days! LOL!)
