Howdy gang,

Y'all know I give things to you straight, and aside from having friends come and visit from various countries, these past couple of weeks have been pretty awful.

I know many of you on my list pray, so I'm asking if any of you have room on your prayer sheet that you to keep my family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming weeks. My cousin is in hospital fighting for his life, and they're not sure he's going to make it. He has three kids that need their dad back, and he has ten siblings that are all rotating out by his bedside, and hundreds of cousins (I'm not exaggerating) who are all championing his recovery.

We'll take all the good juju y'all have.

In better news, over the past two weeks I've had two author friends visit, one from France (she brought wine and cheese) and one from New York (she brought a case full of snacks for my family). It has been so nice having people around who get it, you know? We've written in at least a dozen different cafes over the past couple of weeks, so much so, that I'm pretty sure my body composition is 85% tea right now! I've also been working on all kinds of delicious things for y'all!!!!

Speaking of delicious things: We're two weeks out from the release of book 1 in my new series. I am SUPER excited and I can't wait for Justin and Savannah to be out in the world. Y'all are going to love my cinnamon roll hockey captain... trust me!
