Woooooof. What the heck, April? I thought we were friends. You guys, I dunno what planet is in retrograde but I have been on the struggle bus. Between Easter holidays (not nearly enough chocolate!), work issues, and some mental health/personal issues that have knocked me on my ass, April has been hard. AF.

Anyways, it's three weeks until Ares de la Pena hits your Kindles in Pulling the Goalie and I'm honestly kinda shitting my pants. This book has been quite the process for me, and as with every book, I try to push myself, or grow, or learn from each one. Ares taught me a lot of things, mostly never to call my characters gods names again. Never. Except for all the other books of his siblings in this series.
