Howdy y'all!

How is everyone? Are you still hanging in there ok? I am pedal-to-the-metal, or, as we say here in sunny Northern Ireland 'flat out'. A lot has happened in the last two weeks and I can't quite believe I'm writing that in the middle of a global pandemic.

Firstly, I'm hosting a paperback giveaway over on Goodreads, if you're in the US and fancy your chances, to be in with a chance of winning one of THREE paperback copies of my upcoming release Four Letter Feelings, go here. For those of you in the UK, please make sure you're in my reader group, I have a bunch of giveaways planned for September. To join, go to Margaritas, Men and Mischief with Lasairiona.

While you're over on Goodreads, please don't forget to drop FLF a wee vote in the most anticipated romances of September 2020 - I'd love you forever. Ok, I already do, but go here and click anyway, pretty please?

Secondly, I need your cats.

Not your actual cats, 'cause cats hate me, and I doubt they'd travel well by email, however, if you have pictures of your adorable feline friends that you'd be ok with me sharing on the Hellcats Instagram feed - send them my way!

What's Hellcats I hear you say?

Why, I'm so glad you asked! It kinda went something like this:

Friend: A bunch of authors are getting together to write short stories for an anthology to save a little old lady from losing her house. You should totally write something.

Me: I can't. I don't have time, I don't have a cat, I don't... I can't... I... I...

You know how it is.

But she'd planted the seed and creativity sprouted roots. I wrote and submitted a short story about our beloved Chelsea Davis and held my breath. You see, this isn't just any group of authors, nope, y'all know I don't do anything by half! This is some big hitting, renowned-in-the-indie-world names and I fully expected the organizer, Kate to be like, 'sorry, you're just not good enough.'

Why do we do that to ourselves? Why do we talk to ourselves like that?

Anyways, long story short - I got accepted. I truly can't believe it! So now I'm preparing for not one, but TWO book launches in September and the crazy train just stepped it up a gear.

This anthology... y'all!! It's amazing. I've read ten of the sixty short stories that you'll find inside and they're awesome. They are from just about every genre you can think of, all totally different but with the same theme - HELLCATS! Some have actual cats, some have cars, some have WWII planes - but they're all packed together in a deliciously feline package for only $4/£4!!! I can't believe the price tag - it's a STEAL!

Sci-fi, paranormal romance, thrillers, reverse harem, historical romance - you name it, this anthology has got it and it's a must have if you're a cat lover! I'll be dropping the link after release day - so watch this space, meanwhile, don't forget to send me funny, cute and every day snaps of your cats to go on our Instagram feed. If you want to take a look-see, go here.

Next fortnight's newsletter will be brought to you by the pre-release headless chicken.

Consider this your fair warning! LOL!

Stay safe,

We all have our stories, but thankfully that one ended, but not without complications. This is my story, and I am writing it from now on.

Is he the one to help me believe in love again, or is the broken, jagged road from my past making it too hard to move on, let alone find love?

A Protector's Touch is a steamy, suspenseful new adult college romance story of survival, second chances, and of finding love and one's self again.

Adam Collins was once supposed to be the boy I’d love forever.

But then he got mean just before high school.

So mean, in fact, that he would have me in tears wherever and whenever we crossed paths.

I’ve tried to ignore him.

I’ve tried to understand him.

Now, I’m going to try and fight back.

Because the thing about Adam is that no matter how cruel he is, no matter how angry he gets, I can’t stop thinking of him.

And I’m going to make damn sure that he doesn’t stop thinking about me if he remains the bully.
