Howdy y'all!

There are two weeks until Austin hits your Kindles - JUST TWO - can you belive it? Sheesh. I'm putting the finishing touches on my ARCs, panicking in author, and doing all those millions of little things we do in the lead up to a release - like writing the next book, eating my body weight in cheese and chocolate, and wondering why I do this to myself.

Kidding.

Mostly.

Author anxiety is real, y'all. I've taking to feeding mine gin and telling her she's pretty!

As much as I hate the end of winter (aka the end of hockey season) Spring is certainly springing around these parts and there's definitely something to be said for the brighter mornings and evenings, the (slightly) warmer weather, and all the pretty flowers blooming. My mood is definitely improving. Those dark mornings and afternoons were KILLER.

Have you preordered Austin and Mackenzie yet? Fair warning, Austin's story is different to the first three books in the series - and some of you are probably not going to like it and that's totally okay. It's absolutely, positively okay to not love every book authors put out there, but this was their story and it's how it needed to be told. I hope those of you who don't like it will stick with me to get to Will's story in book five - he's ready to share his story and holy moly it's a doozie!

For those of you who are new to my newsletter, here are the deets of what you can expect from Two for Boarding:

🏒 NA College hockey romance

🏒 Workplace/forbidden romance (hockey player/trainer)

🏒 Kink (Sub/Dom)

🏒 Lemon trifle and margaritas

🏒 Slow burn, medium steam, low angst

Please note: Austin is a pleasure dom.

🗝 Praise vs Ordering

🗝 Dominance vs Steadfast rules

🗝 Pleasure vs Sadomasochism

🗝 Directing vs Making

🗝 Encourages pushing limits vs making harsh demands

And if that isn't enough to whet your appetite enough to pre-order, I'll drop this delicious little teaser that my graphics maven Kate made for me.

If I still can't tempt you to one-click my biteable Dom, Austin, then I dunno what to tell ya, folks. You're missing out!

One last thing before I leave you for another two weeks - do not, whatever you do, miss out on my recommended section below. I know sometimes I share things I haven't read yet, but I generally know the authors and I know they're going to be excellent books regardless.

HOWEVER - one of the perks of inserting myself into other author's lives is that I get to make irrational demands for them to let me read their books before they're released. So this week I've read two out of the three books mentioned below, and I know FOR SURE they're epic. Like didn't-sleep-till-they-were-read kind of epic.

First - Broody Devil by Melissa Ivers. Rhett and Lucy - hot damn, my fave of the series so far and what a broody bastard he is. Enemies to lovers, accidental marriage - the whole shebang. Don't miss it. It's so freakin' good, y'all.

Second - Pretty Little Thing by LK Farlow. Honestly, y'all, this is my favorite book of hers to date. I adore it. I adore everything about it. Frankie and Orion are made for each other and little Mav is just *chef's kiss.*

Until next time, y 'all,

It's one of my absolute favorite places on the internet and I'm really enjoying getting to know readers that bit better over there. Don't be shy - we don't bite... much! Come on over!

AJ Williams wasn’t supposed to fall in love with a girl on the internet. But he did.

Four Letter Feelings

Jeremy Lewis has just returned from a year in Europe, ready to start college in Alabama and pursue his dream career in the National Hockey League. Other than boring school work, he’s eager to play hockey, hang out with his new teammates and maybe even rekindle an old flame when Chelsea Davis unexpectedly reappears in his life.

Life is looking pretty darn peachy.

But when his world is turned upside down by a tragic loss, merely surviving each day feels like an achievement. How can he get through college and keep his budding career on track when all he wants to do is drink and squander his parent’s fortune? Can he convince Chelsea he’s a changed man when he seems so intent on his own destruction?
