Happy Thursday, y'all, I hope this newsletter finds you well.

Against my express wishes, I've finally succumbed to The Man Flu my husband and son have been suffering from over the past two weeks and I'm miserable AF.

Unfortunately, unlike them, I don't get to hang out in front of the TV for three days having food brought to me, as a self-employed Mama Bear, I've gotta do aaaaaaaall the things, just while sick. It's exhausting. I'm exhausted.

I'm also neck deep in edits for book 2 (Pulling the Coalie) and I'm about 15k words into writing book 3 (Crashing the Net). I've also started plotting book 4, but it's taking a backseat for me to plot Protocol 1 - I know many of you have been waiting for that news too. It's a busy quarter for me. I'm also working on a co-write that'll release in the fall too. I know many of you have seen that floating about socials, I'll drop the preorder link next time.

Plus, the TV broke. It just died mid-show. Ugh. So we've been using the little fifteen year old one from the bedroom as the main TV until our new one arrives. It'll be here just in time for season 3 of Ted Lasso though - that's the important thing - AMIRITE?!?! Who is ready? I am, I aaaaam!!!

Justin and Savannah have been out in the world for two weeks, and what a whirlwind two weeks it's been. Thank you all so, so, so much for all your likes, comments, shares, downloads and purchases of this book. If you haven't yet kicked off my new University of Cedar Rapids Raccoons, you should totally do that.

For those of you who have already read it, you can find the playlist for the book over here on Spotify.

If you're talking about Freezing the Puck on socials, could you please tag me @queenoffirelas (insta, twitter, tiktok) and use the tag #FreezingthePuck please! I have missed so many posts in the release blitz, and I'd like to like and comment on all of them to thank y'all if I can.

Bloggers and influencers here is the sign up link for book 2: Pulling the Goalie release event 15th-21st May.

I think that's all I have for y'all this week. At least until I hit send, drop a few F-bombs, and realize I forgot something. I'm sure it's not all that important...

Until next time,

Justin

I thought I’d left my past in Minnesota when I moved to Iowa, but it was right there waiting for me.

Long blonde hair, curves in all the right places, and a death glare that hits harder than a slap shot to the solar plexus. On the ice, I’m a pro at blocking shots, but Savannah Bowen has slipped behind all my defenses and made a home in my heart.

I had no intention of revisiting the past, but when she’s damn near everywhere I go, I’m a goner.

Savannah

Hell freakin’ no.

It doesn’t matter that Justin Ashe is seven feet tall and sexy as sin, or that I’ve had a crush on him for years. He cheated on my best friend in high school, and that makes him off limits.

I can’t be with him, but damn, it’s impossible to stay away from him. Girl Code says uteruses before duderuses.

He’s supposed to be my enemy, but the more I see of him, the blurrier the lines get.

Bookish. Bold. Beautiful. And entirely out of his league.

On paper, all-American boy next door, Lincoln Scott, has it all. But behind his slap shots, straight-A report card, and easy going charm, Linc hides a secret only his best friend knows.

When he attempts to return a misplaced bra, a wrong number gets him way more than the hook-up he bargained for. No one has ever looked beyond the star hockey player, until the mysterious woman he can’t stop texting sees him for who he really is.

Does Linc have the skills off the ice to keep up with her? Will he follow in his father’s footsteps? Or will he step out from the shadows and chase his dreams?

If you’re pucking obsessed with Helena Hunting, Pippa Grant, and Elle Kennedy, you’ll love this hilarious, hot-as-puck, secret identity, opposites attract, curvy girl sports romance. Two for Interference is a full length standalone with no cheating, cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
