Howdy y'all!
How are you? Survived the summer holidays in one piece? Have you gone through every pin on Pinterest? Tried every craft? Baked every recipe in your 13,000 cookbooks? It's hard, isn't it? I found it soooo hard. Especially with only one bored, social butterfly child to try to keep safely occupied during a pandemic. I feel ya, sista.
Tell me about something you did this summer. Did you go to the beach? Did you travel? Did you learn how to make your own ice cream? (I can't ever get that one to work!)
Lewis and I are working on baking. I want to teach him how to be self-sufficient, and like Jeremy in my books, at the very least, be able to cook and bake. The mess is driving me all kindsa crazy though, and I constantly fight the 'just let me do it' urge that strikes. Especially when it comes to things like cracking the eggs... lawwwwwd hammercy!
For those of you who have already read my latest release Two for Interference you'll know we had an international day of cupcakes and moscato on August 26th to celebrate.
People across the world indulged me in my celebrations and some even send in pictures. Thank y'all so much. It has been my most successful launch to date and I can only repeat my never ending thanks for everyone's support and encouragement. Cleo and Linc have been so well received, it warms my heart.
In case you missed it, book two, Russell and Sabrina's story, Two for Holding, is available for pre-order, coming in November 18th 2021. It's melting my heart one chapter at a time. Here's your heads up that we will celebrate this release with cheesecake and cosmos... cause that's just how I roll.
