Howdy y'all!

Can you believe it's June already? I'm writing this newsletter from my chilly Larne apartment by the sea. (WTF Ireland, did you miss the memo that it's SUMMER?!)

But when you read this newsletter - barring any complications at the airport - I'll be sunning myself... eh, I mean, visiting Madrid for an author conference.

Truthfully, I'm crapping myself. Like many of you, I haven't traveled in over two years and for those of you who haven't seen the local Irish news (what are you doing with your lives?!?) Dublin airport is having a 'moment' right now. Lines for security and check in are hours upon hours long and I am NOT looking forward to that part of my journey.

Not only that, but I'm probably also melting in Madrid considering the insane heatwave they're having. I sure do know how to ease back into international travel, don't I?

In other news, look who I ran into in Malahide, Co. Dublin last week - the amazing Kate Meader! I know a lot of you love her Rookie Rebels series, so you'll understand my excitement. She was passing through and very kindly made time to have a pot of tea with me. How lucky am I? We had a great time chatting about publishing, travels, and our writer origin stories. I can't wait to hang out with her and Mr. M again in the future!

One small piece of admin for you guys: I'll soon be changing the Snow Pirate's cover for book 1 (Two for Interference). I'll show you the new cover as soon as it's updated, but for now, if you LOVE the current Linc and need to have him - you'll wanna grab it before I make the switch. This is your heads up! None of the other books in the series are being changed, just book 1, honest!
