Do you know where else I like to hang out?

LATEST NEWS & UPDATE:
Howdy, y'all,
First things first. It's the end of January - for those of you who listen to Spotify and who do their annual Spotify Wrapped in November/December, please remember: Everything you listen to now, counts.
So if you're listening to Baby Shark right now, it's going on your Wrapped at the end of 2025. And as much as I wouldn't judge you (though it's stuck in my head now, so thanks for that,) some people might ;)
Don't say I didn't warn you!
Secondly, things with Athena and Scott are coming along nicely. At the time of drafting this I've just passed the 70k word mark of my manuscript, and hopefully by the time you're reading this, I'll have finished it altogether. (Dream big, right?)
(Update from the 29th January: This book is now sitting at 105k words, and is looking to be my longest book to date because I'm not finished. It might also be my favorite book ever!!)
I will warn you though, this book hasn't stuck to my outline. In fact, this book has taken on a mind and a direction of its own. Since I started weaning down my meds and working more, this book has legit flown from my fingers. It's like my injury, my meds, my pain and depression was blocking all the words from coming (no shit, Sherlock, right?) and once I started the slow healing process, the words just went ALLTHEWORRRRRDS.
It's sheer indulgence. The characters are talking to me on a journey and just making me tell their story with no regard for 'silly' things like story structure. Don't sweat, it's still getting a going over by my editing team, but if you pick it up and think 'wow, she really just wrote what she wanted, didn't she?' you'd be right. That's exactly what I'm doing.
Anyway, if you don't want to wait for my release date (which is currently TBD) then there's an early-read option open to you. It's a rough draft, pre-editing, fresh from my brain typos and all option, but those who read it seem to enjoy watching how the sausage is made.
There's a follower option - where you get random blog posts, occasional free chapters, polls, and thoughts from me. To follow me, go here: https://reamstories.com/lasairiona
As a follower, you'll also find there are follower-exclusive bonus scenes for a few of my books.
Then there are the paid tiers. The higher paid tiers come with even more bonus scenes to books like Resist, My Brother's Teammates, and a Ream exclusive short story called Two for the Eiffel Tower featuring the de la Peña brothers and Mackenzie and Austin from book four in the Snow Pirates world.
In those upper tiers (Switch Bitches and above) you also get access to my current works in progress. In Riding the Pine, the chapters are drip-fed into the system a couple at a time so y'all don't overtake where I'm up to in the manuscript.
In Surprise Protocol (book 1 in the Cedar Rapids Protocol series, MMF, featuring Maddie - one of Cora's best friends in Resist) chapters are drip-fed in there as well, but I've stalled out on writing after a few chapters due to my injury. The plan is to revive this manuscript this year and get a few chapters thumped out (for FUN, Ms. Lara - don't you come for me, ma'am! I have a friend who's making sure I don't break myself this year by trying to take on too much, and she keeps spanking me - and not in a fun way - after she reads my plans for the year!)
I'm planning also to revive my quarterly Zoom calls for that tier over on Ream, and I hope to be sending out more Ream exclusive gifts in December 2025 too - including some nice new art I'm having done this year.
Anyway, if you'd like to follow me over there, that's cool, I'd appreciate it. And if you're a paid subscriber, I say it all the time but I'll say it again, thank you, it means the world to me that you support me on those levels!
Here's that link one more time: https://reamstories.com/lasairiona

And now, if you'll excuse me, it's time to dose up and lie down, as I've been lucid and in pain for far too long and my butt hurts!
Until next time, don't do anything I wouldn't do,

Thor:
Protocol. Routine. Control.
Not anymore.
My life turned on a dime in the blink of an eye. From making pancakes for the curvy redhead I met at the club, to being the single dad of an autistic, eleven-year-old boy.
I need help.
She needs a job.
I’m usually a one-and-done kind of guy, but she draws me in, holding me hostage with her green eyes and sass.
I’m playing with fire. But maybe this time, I want to burn.
Addison:
Things I expect after a one night stand: breakfast, small talk, maybe even another O before the awkward walk of shame in last night’s clothes.
I don’t expect to open the door to his house and find a kid surrounded by all his earthly possessions.
Fired from my job, homeless, and the perpetual screw-up of my family... How can I even think about caring for someone else’s child when I’m incapable of looking after myself?
**Please note** This book contains one pseudo-MMF scene where one M acts as a mentor to another though it is not a full MMF/doing-the-deed scene.
Justin
I thought I’d left my past in Minnesota when I moved to Iowa, but it was right there waiting for me.
Long blonde hair, curves in all the right places, and a death glare that hits harder than a slap shot to the solar plexus. On the ice, I’m a pro at blocking shots, but Savannah Bowen has slipped behind all my defenses and made a home in my heart.
I had no intention of revisiting the past, but when she’s damn near everywhere I go, I’m a goner.
Savannah
Hell freakin’ no.
It doesn’t matter that Justin Ashe is seven feet tall and sexy as sin, or that I’ve had a crush on him for years. He cheated on my best friend in high school, and that makes him off limits.
I can’t be with him, but damn, it’s impossible to stay away from him. Girl Code says uteruses before duderuses.
He’s supposed to be my enemy, but the more I see of him, the blurrier the lines get.
