Hello ,
Earlier this week, I was dressed in army green and in my mind I felt like I was in the military even though I’m not.
But this connects to my message to you about the rest of this year. Can I tell you?
Well, here is it, all of us are in the second half of 2024 but some of us wrote down so many goals to achieve in 2024 and have started thinking it’s okay, it’s over… let’s just finish this year and then I’ll start again in 2025.
No! No! No! Please don’t do that. 🧏🏻♀️
We still have five solid months and that’s such a long time so instead of discarding that goal, choose to imagine that it is achievable.
Want to know how? Well, everyday, try to do something about it for at least one minute. ⌛️
If it is a business plan? Write one minute of it everyday. 📈
If it is to begin exercising? Dedicate ten or even two minutes to doing it everyday. You can even just go up the stairs and down everyday. 💪
My point is, whatever you are trying to achieve, don’t look at the extent of it, just start.
Just do it.
Just so you know, I started this letter with the little detail about my military uniform because I am trying to teach you about consistency. 😄
Military people are always consistent and they show up to do it no matter what. My father in law was in the military and one thing I got to learn is that they just get up and do it.
I’ve also learnt that it’s not about how you’re feeling, get up and do it.
Just do it one minute a day and see that at the end of the year, you’ll see that the end of the year didn’t meet you where you are currently at.
