Hello ,
This week, I will love to share a teachable moment with you.
Every single thing I go through, I pick nuggets out of it and I’m always willing to share nuggets for people.
Today, the nugget I want to share with you is all about seasons!
For me, I am in a very interesting season. I have three wonderful daughters and so I wear my multiple professional hats alongside one labelled mum duties.
However, this week I was supposed to go for a conference. A work conference I have been planning for since January. One I have paid and bought tickets for. But the parenting season I am in means I have to sit it out. I have to sit down because childcare is in the picture and I have no one to leave my children with.
Of course I have had moments when I was angry that I can’t go but I am still happy because I realised that this season means I get to sit at home and enjoy moments with my children. My children are growing so fast and I think I will rather sit and enjoy these moments.
That is a short rundown of my season, now, your turn…

What are you going through that is making you drag and complain?
What season are you not enjoying?
Whatever it may be, let’s choose to be happy together in every season.
Just know that someday you’re going to look back and count your blessings like me.
Conferences and many other things in our lives will come and go but in each season, some things happen in fleeting moments that must not be missed.
Think of the blessings that come with the season and choose to enjoy it despite all odds.
