Late update with an early cover reveal.

Hey there ,
I wanted to share an update on what I’ve been working on lately.
The first is The Dream Herald, which I’ve been tackling weekly with my writing group. The plan (fingers crossed) is to release it around September or October this year—right in time for spooky season. As with my other releases (Merlin’s Crucible notwithstanding), it will launch first as an ebook and paperback/hardcover. The full-cast audiobook is planned for 2027 or possibly 2028.
On that note, if you're interested in becoming an ARC reader or Beta Reader and receiving an early copy for a fair review, please add your name / email to the form available through the button below. The book will be between 70-80,000 words when it's completed.
Alongside that, I’ve also been revising Afterworld while slowly assembling its audiobook. When this edit is complete, I’ll be releasing a definitive edition. While I’ve adjusted some dialogue and added a few lines for certain characters, it will be slightly shorter overall. The focus has been on cutting moments where the narration explains too much instead of letting the scene unfold through the characters.
It’s probably easiest to show you what I mean.
Old Chapter IV Intro:
Fleeting images cascaded across Leon’s mind like a violent tsunami. A laughing madman filled with fire, a kid younger than himself shooting ethereal creatures with a revolver—then, it stopped. In an instant, everything rushed back to him: the sensation before he fell from the sky, the feeling of his death—it all made sense now. The numbness he felt wasn’t fatigue or sickness; it was shock, electrocution by a bolt of lightning. Afterward, he had collapsed, blacked out, and met his end in that stormy, flooded trench.
As the scarred man removed his hand from Leon’s face, his eyes opened. “It’s done, my king.”
“Excellent!” the king said. “So, do you remember what killed you now?”

The Frozen King was now further away, holding a toddler, and as the scarred man walked off, he approached with the child.
“Excellent!” the king said. “So, do you remember what killed you now?”
Now for the newsletter exclusive.
You’re the first of the general audience to see The Dream Herald's updated cover. The previous one was a pre-made I had picked up years ago, and while it served its purpose, it no longer worked to convey the tone of the story.
Without further ado, here is the front cover.
Isn't she a beaut? But really, that's about all the news I have for you at the moment. I'm still hard at work with these books, sinking hours of each day into them after my day job.
Maybe one day I'll have enough out and be able to turn to writing as a full-time career?
Anyway, thanks for your continued support. And as always, stay posted!
