,
It's been an exciting year for me, and to see so many of you join my newsletter has made it all worth it! Earlier this year, I set two goals for myself, and the primary objectives were this:
- Finish and publish Dawning of Darkness by March. ✔ (Fun fact, I originally had this planned as my newsletter magnet and briefly gave away an earlier edition to the 20-some odd subscribers I had at the time.)
- Work on the audiobook and also do a bit of writing on The Desperado's Tale ✔
I would call this year an enormous success, for although the audiobook for Dawning of Darkness was delayed because of technical difficulties, it gave me time to write Merlin's Crucible: A Legacy of Shadows, a book which if you haven't already picked up for free, you can do so by clicking HERE.
You may wonder: how is the audiobook going? Well, I'm still working on it and I'm in the process of hiring the last of the voice actors, but I'd say it's going well. Now, if you're following the Facebook group, I know you're probably asking "Well? What's the release date!" as I teased in a post that I would let you know. To answer that, I'm giving you an exclusive 3 day early look at the new audiobook trailer which reveals that answer!
If you enjoy the trailer, then get an extended first look by checking out the beta version of the full prologue and first chapter, along with the retail sample for free HERE and HERE. Grab those headphones or go to a quiet environment for the best experience!
Audiobooks not your thing? No problem! If you're more of an ebook reader, and you still haven't gotten the current collection, they're on sale now for a limited time! Physical editions are also available!
Finally, below you'll find a few books you may further be interested in from fellow indie authors! Give them a shot, and hopefully you find another brilliant series to lose yourself in! I've listed them in groups that apply during the time of sending this out, but always double check for yourself if things have changed! I hope you have yourself a happy holidays, and I look forward to connecting with you and letting you know my future plans in the new year!
PS. If you get a chance, once you read the books, please share and leave reviews on places like Goodreads and your favorite platforms. I'm still just starting out, so the more reviews and readers I gather, the more likely others like yourself will give the series a chance! Thank you again!
