Marketing is something I’m always trying to get better at, and this month I’m experimenting with something new.

Royal Road

I'm slowly releasing my books on a platform called Royal Road.

I'm starting with Dawning of Darkness, then moving onto Afterworld, and wrapping up with The Ripper sometime next fall.

The first two chapters of Dawning of Darkness are already up and free to read! I’ve scheduled at least two new sections each week—one on Monday and one on Friday. (And between us, Chapter 5 is so long it’ll come with a surprise bonus release on Wednesday.)

If you’re still reading at this point, you’re one of my most dedicated followers—and I truly appreciate you.

So, what have I been up to? Slowly (and I do mean slowly) learning how to draw. My dream is to one day include original artwork in my books. For now, it’s out of reach budget-wise, but if my books gain traction, maybe that will change.

Here are a few of my “masterpieces” so far:

I’ve been working through some Udemy courses. The instructor recommends watching the whole thing first while taking notes, and then going back for the practice. Hopefully, by the end, my art will start looking a little sharper!
