Hi ,


I apologize for the delay in sending out our October Newsletter, which I initially drafted a couple of weeks ago. As you'll see, the past 6-7 weeks have been quite hectic. Kimberly and I have one more trip this coming week to attend the Faith Over Fear business conference in Florida, hosted by our mentor, Ray Higdon. Even as I tried to send this out an hour ago, our daughter arrived to pick up Addy, as she started the car we heard an unusual noise. A kitten had crawled up into the engine compartment. 30 mins later, the little guy is safe, but very wet as I ended up flushing him out with a hose.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the recent storms. We know several people, including our business coach, who were impacted in one way or another. Here in Ohio, we were fortunate to avoid major disruptions, aside from a few large limbs down. With our utilities being underground, we didn’t experience the extended local power outages.


September was a whirlwind for us. We went from attending the Avon convention on the East Coast to traveling to the West Coast for our son’s wedding—all within a week. During the few days we had at home between trips, we started watching our new granddaughter for 11 hours a day, 3-4 days a week, and even traveled with her and her parents for a week. While we were in California, we received the news of Greg’s mother’s passing. After three days of unreturned calls and messages, a wellness check was done at Greg’s request, and she was found.


Over the last six weeks, we’ve had our hands full. Between caring for our granddaughter, clearing out Greg’s mother’s home, selling her car and house, handling difficulties with her Social Security, pension, and brokerage accounts, and preparing for and working two major Avon vendor events—one being a ten-day event in Indiana—we’ve been non-stop. Greg even traveled back to Ohio for a one-day event before returning to Indiana to support Kimberly. Through it all, our Avon business has continued to grow, with 78 new team members joining Avon since our last newsletter.


We’re incredibly thankful for our Avon business and for our amazing team, whose growth and successes have continued even during this hectic time. We appreciate each of you and are so grateful to have you as part of our Avon Team family.

NEW - Avon Policies & Procedures

The new policies provide guidelines on how Ambassadors and Leaders can be engaged with other direct selling companies while still being an Avon Ambassador. These guidelines include recruiting and competitive brands. 


BOTTOMLINE: If you are currently participating in another Competitive Direct Sales Company (defined as companies that sell products in categories Avon offers, such as skincare, haircare, and cosmetics) and wish to continue participating in the Avon Leadership Program, you are required to notify Avon via Sales.Administration@avonusa.com within 30 days of receiving this notification that you have closed your account with the direct sales, multilevel, or network marketing business, including written documentation from the company confirming the closure.


In addition, if you continue to participate with another Competitive Direct Sales Company (defined as companies that sell products in categories Avon offers, such as skincare, haircare, cosmetics, or other product categories Avon may offer in the future) and wish to be removed from the Avon Leadership Program, you must respond with your acknowledgment and request to be removed from the Avon Leadership Program.


Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the closure of your Avon Ambassador account.


These changes are not a surprise and are in line with other direct sales companies policies.


NEW - First time online customer coupon code

The WELCOME10 code, where first time online customers can receive 10% off their order, is being phased out by the end of the year. A new code WELCOME24, where first time online customers can receive 15% off their order is now active.


Incentives

ALL Ambs/Reps - Organist Challenge Incentive (C22-C23) 23 Oct - 19 Nov – Sell or purchase a combo of 10 any NEW Organist Rice Water hair and body products and receive Free Shipping via a one-time use coupon code emailed at the close of the incentive. Coupon code must be used during C25 or C26. See the Incentives Hub for details.


Inactive Ambassadors (those with no award sales in the past six campaigns/12-weeks)

Beginning with C21 (9 Oct) Avon will be sending out coupon codes to inactive ambassadors/reps as an encouragement to help generate award sales, including personal purchases for your own household as well as sales to customers. If your account is currently inactive, be on the lookout for these emails. 


NEW Ambassadors/Reps - C21-C26 (9 Oct - 31 Dec) - Receive Free Shipping for your first order and Receive 15% and 20% off your second and third orders. Use the coupon codes sent to your email from Avon when you sign up. Coupon codes expire after 28-days. This offer applies to new ambassadors who join after C21’24 and those who have not yet placed their 2nd or 3rd orders since joining.


NEW Ambassadors/Rep Bundles C21-C26 (9 Oct - 31 Dec)

New ambassadors can purchase a curated selection of best sellers and new product launches. The cost is $100 for $299+ in products. Use the products for yourself, use them as gifts, or sell to others for profit.


Fast Track to Success - extended through C26 - New Ambassadors that achieve $500+ in award sales during their first five-full campaigns (the campaign the join and the next five-full campaigns) will receive an additional $50 bonus applied to their Avon Wallet account.


Avon Go Far - Costa Rica - Announced during convention back in August, Ambassadors have an opportunity to earn a trip to Costa Rica. See YOUR PERSONALIZED progress chart at https://www.avon.com/representative/go-far
